Okay ladies you can relate to this. Have you ever debated over 2 pairs of shoes and ended up just buying one instead of the other. Well, about a month ago I was really debating between these really cute tall black Uggs or these short tan ones? So I bought the tall black... and love 'em but over the past month I kept thinking about the short ones...haha I know I sound crazy!
I don't think it helps that the shoe store is right next door to the tanning salon because last night the store was open and of course I went inside. JUST TO LOOK THOUGH!!! Haaaaa... how often does that work out for us? Okay I bought the short tan Uggs... but seriously they are sooooo cute! C'mon ladies you know how it is... shoes are just our thing!
Yes, my story was the subject of the St Paul Pioneer Press Thanksgiving Day newspaper front page. My son and I were pictured. It's very surreal telling your life story to the masses. I have been struggling for a long time and feel blessed to have the opportunity share my story, knowing there are a lot of people out there that share at least some of my pain and frustration.

The Brits rule the charts!!
Coldplay'sViva la Vida was the best-selling album on iTunes for 2008, the music downloading service has announced. The album featuring frontman Chris Martin has sold more than 2 million copies since being released in June - and has sold more than 500,000 digitally, the Associated Press reports.
Another Brit, Leona Lewis, claimed the year's top-selling single with her addictively catchy hit "Bleeding Love."
Very nice analysis by LeJuiceman on the East vs West breakdown. I agree - Dallas, San Antonio, and New Orleans are off to weak (by recent standards) starts. Utah, Houston, Phoenix and Portland are all very beatable. Denver is the only Western team exceeding expectations.
On the flip side, Cleveland, Boston, Detroit and Orlando have all come out of the gate strong. All four of these ballclubs reached the Eastern Conference semifinals last season. New Jersey, Miami, Chicago and Atlanta haven't been too shabby, either. I expect Toronto, Philly and Washington to improve vastly as the year goes on.
All in all, I have to agree - it's fairly safe to say that the balance of power has shifted back to the East. But don't get me wrong...I'm thankful we don't have to see the likes of the Western elite more than a couple times a year.
Here's a look at the distribution of young talent (less than 5 years in NBA)
Young guns in East:
Bron, Wade, D. Howard, Bosh, J. Smith, D. Harris, Granger, Mo, Beasley, Rose, Iguodala, Bargnani, Augustin, Rondo, Stuckey
Young guns in West:
Paul, D. Williams, A. Jefferson, Roy, Melo, Durant, Mayo, Gay, West, Oden, Aldridge, Westbrook, Kevin M., E. Gordon, Bynum
WOW THIS WAS AT A CHARITY EVENT! Ginger Spice was walking the red carpet for the Childrens BAFTA's (the UK Academy Awards) last night in London when all of a sudden hey look there's her ass. It's not clear how her dress ripped open but it sure as hell did.
Capcom Japan has released images and details of their Biohazard 5 Limited Edition. Inside is a 2 GB Flash Drive, a 32 page full color art book, and a pouch like the one Chris and Sheva have in game.

remember hurricane ike? the little hellion that ruined my vacation, among (i'm sure) countless others, not to mention put people out on their bums with nowhere to live, etc. looks like maybe i've finally gotten something positive out of the whole thing... i stayed here at the station that weekend (friday through tuesday, actually), and was amazingly provided with food, electricity, and even a mattress! and months later, that mattress is still in my studio. it's really tempting sometimes in the middle of the afternoon to lay it down and take a nap. and since it's yet to go to the place where it lives (where ever that is) with the rest of the ike mattresses, it might just be coming home to live with me. i'm starting to think that no one will miss it...
If you wanted a better illustration that we now inhabit a constitutional Alice in Wonderland world here in Britain, you could do worse than look at the full invite list for the meeting of Harriet Harman's Save Speaker Martin campaign today (from which more later). Amusingly, someone in Harman's office forwarded the email to David Cameron's staff and the contents were duly published. Various cabinet ministers were on the list along with officials from the House of Commons and the Speaker's office.
That Labour is trying to help organise the defence of Martin is bad enough. However, also on the list was Cabinet Secretary Gus O'Donnell (who is far too sensible, aware of his duties and streetwise to have accepted the invitation).
But even O'Donnell's being asked illustrates the state of Labour ministers' minds and how far the party has travelled in government away from an understanding of the lines which separate the Executive from Parliament. If you believe in traditional proprieties, this matter has nothing conceivably to do with the head of the Home Civil Service. This is a row about the rights and privileges of Parliament - historic freedoms which MPs and Peers hold on behalf of the rest of us. Civil servants can visit Parliament accompanying ministers and even sit in the box reserved for their use on the edge of the chamber but they do so only as a courtesy at the behest of the Speaker and Parliament. They are guests.
The distinction is important if you care about parliamentary sovereignty. Parliament holds the Executive to account (or should do) and there is no partnership between parliament and the civil service - only between ministers of the Crown and mandarins.
I have no idea what Gus O'Donnell's views are on the violation of parliament by anti-terrorism officers - they may be very interesting, but he can keep them. In this affair he has no locus, no role to play whatsoever. I suppose he can advise ministers that they are being too nice or nasty to parliament if they ask him but that's about it. He should never even have been invited to be in the same room as the Sergeant of Arms when an issue such as this is discussed.
That Labour seems incapable of spotting the distinction is really quite troubling.
Some years ago a very nice young lady gave me a silk tie which was treated with Teflon making it in theory and practice stain resistant. I could wear it whilst eating a curry or spaghetti safe in the knowledge that should I miss my mouth any food that landed on the tie would slide effortlessly down it without staining it. In practice however it would end up in my lap leaving a nasty stain on my non Teflon treated trousers in the area of my crotch. This problem has now been solved as my new Italian Moleskin trousers have a label stating they are Teflon treated and are stain and rain resistant. Had I still got the tie I could now go to my local Indian restaurant or Italian one safe in the knowledge that all I had to worry about was staining my untreated socks. I presume Teflon coated linen table cloths are in the pipeline once a cure for the common cold has been found.
All the preceeding pointless information brings me to the real point in question. Having just returned home after a trip to Heathrow Airport having set out with a gleaming car it is now covered in a combination of salt, motorway slime and several bird droppings. Returning the beast to its previous prestine condition will involve me either standing in the cold tomorrow cleaning it, or standing in the warm watching six frozen Polish men clean it for me £8.00 including tip. So why doesn't a motor manufacturer produce a car with a Teflon finish? Muck would just slide off and anything more stuborn would disappear with the first downpour of rain.
Well, I've made it back to my pre-Thanksgiving weight. I wasn't always a big fan of cardio. During my football years it was all about strength for me. In the last 10 years the elliptical trainer has become the center of my daily workouts. Treadmills and bikes hurt my knees so the elliptical trainer has saved me and incredibly improved my endurance. So, for all those email questions about training and fitness - never leave cardio out! Find the machine that is most comfortable for you and get to it. This is a topic I could spend all day on but with millions of body types, levels of activity and ability, it would be irresponsible of me to offer up too much advice. Like the gym equipment says, "You should always consult your physician before beginning any exercise routine."
I should probably give a shout out to my iPod for getting me thru my workouts. I've gotten pretty hooked on my favorite podcasts in recent months. There's a great wrestling podcast - Smart Wrestling Fan. I find their commentary funny and insightful. I love football so I'm always tuning in to NFL Rants and Raves. Those two guys are quite entertaining in their own right. For the tekkies....check out the T4 Show.
If you're "new" to WWE Universe....welcome! I've been plugging away for a couple of months now and it's been great. I get the unique opportunity to connect with the fans more than I've ever had. I hop into the Forums quite a bit. I suppose I'm a bit biased but I'm usually in the "D'Lo Appreciation" Thread. The response has really been overwhelming and certainly more than I ever expected. I really get a feel for the support I have out there in the Universe.....no pun intended. It's no secret that my return is off to a slow start but I continue to remain upbeat. My time is coming.
Your time has come.....to download my entrance theme music to your cell phone. Let 'em know they're looking at the Real Deal now. (It's a shameless plug, I know).
Here are some choices I think should get a Slammy Award.
We know the nominees for Superstar of the Year have been announced by Mrs. Triple H herself, Stephanie, but I think that John Cena should get it because, I respected him and he respected me when I met him 5 years ago at the Toronto Eaton Centre.
As for the other awards, here is who I'd like to nominate for the following.
For Tag Team of the Year, I nominate Carlito and Primo Colon.
For Couple of the Year, it has to be Triple H and Stephanie since they now become the parents of a second baby girl not so long ago.
Best Musical Performance needs to go to Hornswoggle with the Irish music and doing the jig to go with it.
DAMN! Moment of the Year must be the time when Hardcore Holly was souled out by Cody Rhodes making Ted DiBiase, Jr.'s tag team partner and making them tag team champs at that time.
Best Finishing Maneuver has to be CM Punk's "Go To Sleep".
Announcer of the Year should be awarded to Lillian Garcia.
Best Impersonation without a doubt will go to Charlie Haas.
Diva of the Year should be awarded to Melina Perez.
Match of the Year has to be John Cena making a comeback at the Royal Rumble and winning it too to get a title shot at WM24 in Orlando.
OMG Moment of the Year would be the last minute entry to have Edge in the match with Triple H & Kozlov and making him win the title with the help of Jeff Hardy also getting involved.
I hope some of my predictions will pay off and I'm sure that on December 8, I might be right on some of them.
